Starlink Gear
dish (maybe a mount)
cables
router (unless it’s a Starlink Mini, then it's built into the Dishy)
Power source -- slightly different power requirements, depending on Starlink generation (see Youtube reviews below)
Clear sky - which you can check ahead of time with app (example video)
Maybe extra stuff (depending if you have additional or specialized needs)
Starlink generations v1 and v2 have a “stow” mode that they must go in before being shipped. Failing to do so may result in problems packing correctly in the box that came.
If you don’t stow it properly before turning off, there is a workaround. (See their instructions here)
Gen 3 and Starlink Minis don’t have this issue (stowing correctly), but there may be some issues putting it back in the box that you borrowed the Starlink in.
Power / Battery / Solar Reviews (Youtubers)
Power on Starlink Minis
Starlink Mini can accept a wide range of DC voltages, from 12V to 48V (60W) - Active Use: ~25 W ; Idle: ~12.5 W
DC Power - directly eliminates the need for power conversion, which results in lower power consumption and longer battery life when using portable power sources. (e.g. DC5521 cable giving 28+ hours of available battery life compared to 11-13 hours when using the AC adapter)
